This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behaviours, responsibilities, and ethical standards for all members of the Rosehill College community.

Purpose and Scope

Purpose

This Code of Conduct establishes clear expectations of behaviour to support a respectful, professional, and inclusive learning and working environment.

Scope

This Code applies to all staff, students, contractors, and representatives of Rosehill College.

Definitions

  • Respect: Treating others with dignity, fairness, and consideration.
  • Integrity: Acting honestly and ethically in all academic and professional activities.
  • Professionalism: Meeting the standards and responsibilities of one’s role.
  • Confidentiality: Protecting personal and sensitive information.
  • Discrimination: Unfair treatment based on personal characteristics.
  • Harassment: Unwelcome conduct that creates an intimidating or hostile environment.

  • Support student wellbeing

Student Responsibilities

Academic Integrity

  • Submit original work
  • Avoid plagiarism and cheating
  • Meet assessment requirements

Behaviour & Wellbeing

  • Respect staff and peers
  • Use facilities responsibly
  • Support a safe learning environment

Reporting and Addressing Misconduct

Reporting

  • Staff: Supervisor or HR
  • Students: Trainer or Student Services

Consequences

  • Warnings, suspension, or dismissal
  • Referral to external authorities if required

Review and Updates

This Code of Conduct is reviewed annually or as required to ensure ongoing relevance and compliance.
