Entry Requirements for International Students

General Requirements

Age:

Must be over the age of 18 before the course commencement.

Educational Qualification:

Evidence of a Year 12 High School leaving certificate or equivalent (e.g., an AQF Certificate IV qualification), or an official academic transcript or diploma from the previous educational institution.

Passport:

A valid passport for at least six months.

English Language Proficiency:

Proof of English proficiency is required through standardized tests as shown below, or completion of 2 years full-time study in Australia in English.

English Language Provider Test Minimum Test Score:

IELTS: 5.5 with no band less than 5
TOEFL iBT: 64
Cambridge English: Advanced: 169
Pearson Test of English Academic: 50
Occupational English Test: B for each component

Technical Skills Requirement:

Intermediate computer skills and the ability to navigate simple software.
Access to a laptop and internet.
Commitment to the course duration, including approximately 10 hours per week of self-paced study.

Student Visa 500 Subclass Requirements:

Meet genuine student requirements.
Meet English language test score requirements.
Demonstrate financial capacity.
Hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
Meet health requirements.
Be of good character.
